I just viewed the wedding video done by Damon(http://www.damonlowvideography.com) on facebook for {hans+grace} and i must say i am almost reduced to a crying man. This joint production is has been very successful and the video is a testament that more has yet to come for our effort to break away from the traditions and rejuvenate our creative juices. Kudos to Damon for his edit's magic and simply amazing amazing song choice. And kudos for the beautiful couple {hans+grace} for their hard work, and hilarious moments.. =)

Pre-wedding of {hans+grace} - a sneak preview

Tired. And really lack of sleep. But really glad to have some great photos from pre-wedding and wedding day. Looking forward to working on all of them. Been slacking on quite alot of administrative stuff lately(as usual). Having some problems with the replacement of my credit card. A flight to book for a trip. Unchecked. But first of all, i should get some sleep...
Anyways, a sneak preview of my favorite picture from the pre-wedding of {hans+grace}. Thank the Lord for one of the most blessed shoot day of the year. The sun was co-operative, and surprising the entire shoot was 'comfortably' hot. hah.. i think i should stop babbling nonsense. Good night everyone.

Pre-wedding of {ren+cindy}

Venue : Hokkaido, Japan
In the month of June, we have the honor of shooting {ren+cindy} for their pre-wedding in Japan. I remembered when i first met them, i didn't even have a pre-wedding album to show them and they were quite cool about it. Things went on from there and there we are in beautiful Hokkaido. The trip itself was filled with events from missing the seasonal flowers to figuring a way to get a IDP in Furano and {ren} having really bad toothache on the first day of shoot. From what seems a bad trip, we managed to rework 80% of the shoot schedule and still get some great photos. Guys, thanks for the all the long walks and endurance to see the shoot through!

cakes, cakes and more cakes
After receiving more than a gorzillian amount of enquires on where and how to get the wedding cake from {dean+yang}'s wedding, i have finally decided to post the contact the baker.(I certainly hope they don't sue me for doing this without their permissions!)
Anyways, the pictures on the website doesn't do them any justice but still the overall layout is simple and nice. Please kindly contact Yun if you want to do some wonderful cakes for your wedding! (Pardon my babbling, I really dislike fake wedding cakes from hotel, coz i think they are just doing it for sake of making the whole wedding banquet thingy more complete. And sometimes, i just wonder why would my clients ask me for the pictures of the cake from the hotel since everyone else is having that.. same cake, which i happened to see it for the 100th times this year at xyz hotel? Haha.. anyways, i sincerely hope this year round all my clients will be getting real cakes so that i can get some great pictures of them! (And probably steal a bite when no one is watching=p))
Lastly, if the post is offensive, it's just some personal thought after years of shooting weddings and it's just like complaining about that cute colleague of yours. Don't worry about me not shooting the cake at your wedding, be it real or fake. I'm just babbling coz it's really late at night and sometimes, real cakes are just easier and creamier to shoot. Yum! (Opps i didn't say that)

a new year, and one to look forward to
Year 2009 marks a beginning and a different chapter for me. I just hit the magical three O's mark a month ago, and i think my reflexes are slowing abit, my brain not working as fast as they were and.. my waist growing... And for the first time in my life, i failed the 12.40 mark. It was a really really dreadful way to end 2008. (Btw, 12.40 mark is the pass timing for 2.4km run.)
To summarize, the whole of 2008 was a great year in terms of all the amazing images we have made and i am really looking forward to 2009 where we can extent our creativity more into pre-weddings. Yes, you got it right. We are going into pre-weddings for 2009. In fact, like never before, we actually put a price for it! I think this will certainly caused a few eye brow to raise? Haha.. But all in all, we were having fun experimenting with pre-weddings late last year and so, here we are. So do mail us for portfolio or our price list on this!
Well to a certain extent, we have to admit the impending recession does affect wedding photographers and like every business, plans to cut cost are rolling out and the simplest way to our clients are keeping our rates in order to retain our competitiveness. And like never before also, we now offer packages for people who wants a more hassle approach. More packages might be out for the 2nd half of year, depending on the type of enquires and responses we have. So stay tuned!
Lastly, Happy New Year to everyone and we hope 2009 will be a blessed year for all!
